Description

Life of Muhammad (saw) is part of the book "Introduction to the Study of the Holy Qur'an" by Hadhrat Mirza Bashirduddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra). The book was translated into English by Qadi Muhammad Aslam and was first published in 1949 in London.

In his Friday Sermon of 28th September 2012, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba), the Fifth Caliph of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, emphasised upon the publication of books about the Holy Prophet of Islam (saw) so that the beautiful aspects of his (saw) life, written in the light of facts and history, may be known.

Huzur (aba) gave this book, "Life Of Muhammad", as an example publication that should be published on an extensive scale as it covers all aspects of the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (saw).

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK, the auxiliary youth association of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, is now privileged to present "Life Of Muhammad" in an electronic book format.

Needless to say that this book is much in demand and we very much hope that the present electronic edition will help meet this demand and make this publication more accessible.

The name of Muhammad (saw), the Holy Prophet of Islam, has been followed by the symbol (saw), which is an abbreviation for the salutation "may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him". The names of other Prophets and Messengers are followed by the symbol (as), an abbreviation for "on whom be peace". The actual salutations have not generally been set out in full, but they should, nevertheless, be understood as being repeated in full in each case. The symbol (ra) is used with the name of the Disciples of the Holy Prophet (saw) and those of the Promised Messiah (as). It stands for Radi Allahu 'anhu/'anha/'anhum (May Allah be pleased with him/with her/with them).
